Howarth maternity

The Howarth family invited me into their beautiful home this weekend to capture images of their second pregnancy.

Sarah is due next month, and has the cutest baby bump. Andy and Sarah didn't find out the sex of the baby, and I just love that. There are so few real surprises in the world!

This family is so lovely...beautiful, kind, funny...I had a wonderful time taking these photos. I really wanted to capture how much the Howarth's love their country home, the outdoors and each other:)

Olympic torch run!!!

Yay Leah!! Leah Furtney had the opportunity of a lifetime today to run with the Olympic Torch.
Her run began at 11:59 a.m. this morning in Vineland.
She ran for 300 metres with her entire family, plus hundred of others, cheering her on.
What an amazing thing to be a part of.
Way to go Leah!

Toilet paper bride, lol!!

Things are winding down for the holidays. I am looking forward to spending some quiet time with my friends and family before the rush begins again!
Thank you so much to everyone who has come to my home in Jarvis for Christmas studio photos. I have had a blast doing them! There are still a few days left for anyone who wants to get some studio family photos done and have them in time for Christmas.
I have been so busy trying to edit all of these Christmas photos that I haven't been blogging very much...but I promise to post a few once things settle down:)

For now here are a few from this weekend.
My wonderful and beautiful friend Sonya is getting married and since I was at her shower on Saturday, I thought I would snap a few shots.
It was so much fun. We played a game called "toilet paper bride" and had a blast.
Here are just a few pics from the day.

Sonya took the toilet paper bride decorating quite seriously, lol!

Napkin bouquet anyone???

Sonya's mom used to make these barbie cakes when she was little. This time it was a Barbie Bride cake, so sweet:)

The toilet paper brides!
I can't wait for the wedding:)

Little ladies

These little ladies came to visit me at my home on Sunday and I was so excited!
Their mom and I have known each other since we were babies. Steph was born 26 days before I was and our parents were friends and neighbours. Both of our families ended up moving from that neighbourhood and only seeing each other once in a while. It was so amazing to meet her beautiful little girls, who are both so much like their mom in very different ways.

It was tough, but we actually did get one of the two of them together and smiling! Mission accomplished!!

Beautiful kids

This past Sunday I met with my neighbours to do family photos in the late morning, and it was so fun, but so COLD!
These three kids are gorgeous, and the little man...hmmm, what can I say??? Boys will be boys, lol!

Krystal and Ryan Maternity

WooHoo!! I did my first maternity photo session today and I LOVED every minute of it...except now I want another baby, lol!
Krystal and Ryan were amazing to work with; absolutely beautiful couple and the sweetest little baby bump. They didn't find out what they are having, but this is guranteed to be one gorgeous baby. I can't wait to meet him or her!!
And can you beleive that it is December 1 and we went outside to do photos! And Krystal even bared her bump.
I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peak.

Due in February...Doesn't she look amazing??

My favourite of the day, I love how Ryan is looking at the mother of his baby...so much love.

Handsome little man

I had way too much fun today taking pictures of this little man. He is so cute, and was making the funniest faces. Mom and dad sure have their hands full!!
Thanks so much Breann for letting me take over your living room and for allowing B-boy to be my little model for the afternoon!

I had to add this...one of his funny face! lol!

Kitchen family

What a beautiful day! I am such a lucky person to have the chance to take pictures for beautiful families, just like the Kitchen family, in beautiful locations so close to my home.
We met at the Townsend Park today, and then headed over to the Walpole Antique Farm.
These two little ones were so much fun, and the weather was perfect. I still think it's unbelievable that we could spend a few hours outdoors in November without coats on!!
I hope you enjoy your sneak peak L and K, and I hope the kids have fun at the waterpark;)

Dj, Robyn and the ladies:)

On Saturday I met with DJ, Robyn and these three lovely ladies. We took photos at the Caledonia train station. I just love taking photos there. It doesn't look like a place that would make for great photos, but once the editing process begins, I am always amazed at how cool the pictures turn out.
Dj and Robyn are my neighbours in Jarvis, and I actually have known DJ since I was in grade seven and living in Caledonia...such a small world!

I hope you enjoy your sneak peak guys, your photos will be ready soon:)

Playing around

I have been having so much fun playing around with my new studio lights. I didn't think I would like doing studio work as much as I am. I think my favourite is still outdoor natural light photography...nature is truly beautiful and it is such a rush to find the prefect location!! But the studio photography is so much fun... not to mention warm and cozy and I don't get rained on:D.
I can't wait to do more, but for now here are some pics of my husband and kids playing around.
