Landen - 1 Year Cake Smash

This little man is the most absolutely precious thing ever! So sweet, big smiles and busy, busy, busy! My first photo session since I had my baby, and it sure kept me on my toes.
I love photographing children this age, they are just so funny!

Gray - 4 weeks

My baby is now four weeks old... where does the time go?
He's already changed so much.
I am slowly getting back into the swing of things. I am super excited to get out in the "real" world to photograph fabulous people!
I've begun booking again for all sessions, and I'm excited to kick things off tomorrow morning with a one year old and his cake smash session.
And I'm really excited for some upcoming engagement shoots and a winter wedding. I hope the beautiful snow stays, but it can warm up out there just a tad ;)

Here are some shots I did yesterday of my little man.

He doesn't like to sleep very much during the day (I can't complain because he's been doing pretty good at night), but I managed to finally get a few of him having a cat nap.

His little hands and wrists are starting to plump up:)

Baby Gray

New Year's Eve was an exciting day for my family this year.
My due date fell on December 31st, and I never thought we would make it!
My daughter was 1 day early, my son 2 weeks early, and I was told with this pregnancy it would be a surprise if I made it to the 9th month.
But taking it easy the last few weeks must have helped, because baby number three was born on his exact due date.
It was an awesome labour and delivery thanks to my husband and Dr. Loosley-Millman at St. Joseph's. She is an incredible woman, and even cracked jokes with me during my drug-free delivery. Although I must admit, I wasn't exactly laughing out loud at the time! But she helped me feel so courageous and in control.
Gray Robert William Dawson arrived fairly quickly. At 6 p.m. when I got to the hospital I was 6 cm dilated, so figuring on a centimetre an hour, probably longer because the contractions weren't very strong, plus pushing time, we should be coming in right around the 12 a.m. mark, soooo exciting! But... He was born at 8:35 p.m on December 31, a great way to end a great year!!
It's been 6 days since my little man arrived and I still haven't had a chance to spend time getting some studio photos of him!
I managed to take a few today, but having my hubby back to work and my other two children home with me, life has been a little hectic. I'm hoping to take some more pics of the little munchkin this weekend, but for now here are just a few.

"The Thinker" hahaha!!
