Newborn: Annabelle

Sweet little Annabelle came to my studio at 17 days old. It took a little bit to get her to sleep, but we managed and she was a champ for the last hour of her photoshoot.

I love this one. She looks like she is giving her daddy a kiss, or maybe telling him a secret.

This was our final shot of the day, still fast asleep.

Newborn: Cash

Meet this sweet little man. I was so excited to have him come out for some photos. His parents are so awesome, and his little sister way too cute, so I knew this would be an awesome shoot.
Cash didn't want to sleep too much, but he did great. For a baby who was awake and only 6 days old, he was quite happy and alert. I think he's going to be a busy little person, just like his sister:)
I love the artwork on Nick's arms, and the contrast with Cash's bare arm.

Due in 2 weeks!

I am so appreciative of Jacqueline and Jorin for coming all the way to my house for their maternity session, and for putting up with the chaos when they got here.
At the last minute I had to move my entire studio to the main floor, because our basement flooded.
But Jacqueline and Jorin were troopers and didn't let my crazy house freak them out. Jacqueline even told me how comfortable she felt having me take her photos, which is incredible because all we could hear was the sound of the shop vac sucking up water, lol!
Jacqueline and Jorin are soon-to-be first time parents, she's due in just two weeks. She looks absolutely amazing.

This will be my last post for about a week. I am going to be in Cuba, and I will be returning all calls and email when I return.

Good luck in the next few weeks guys, and I can't wait to hear from you for newborn photos:)

Spring mini-session over

I have really enjoyed holding my spring mini-session. It was such a blast to have the little ones pop into the studio for a short little session. And I think all the parents really liked it too. It was just enough time to capture some really great shots, and we got it done before the little ones got grumpy, lol!
The mini-session doesn't give me a chance to get a lot of poses in, but it was still lots of fun!
In fact, I had so much fun seeing all the families who took advantage of the spring promo, that I am going to work on a little something for this fall. But it will be outdoors:)

Check out this gorgeous little girl. Leah is six months and seriously sweet!

Ray and Tracy Married!!

As I left Raymond and Tracy's home on Saturday, after shooting their beautiful wedding, I said to my husband, "If we could do it over again that's exactly what I would want."
Ray and Tracy were married at the Garnet Church and had a beautiful and intimate ceremony with their children standing beside them and their closest family and friends smiling on.
The photos were then captured at their farm. It was so much fun, and Tracy even had the most brilliant idea... to have some photos out in the field with their sheep.
I truly enjoyed my time with Ray and Tracy and their amazing family on Saturday. It was a perfect wedding!
