The Silva family

Yesterday was such a full day of picture taking and I am FINALLY getting around to posting on my blog. Long story, but my PC greeted me with a Fatal Error message...so now I have a brand new iMac!! Yippee!

I met the Silva family yesterday afternoon and after doing some photos in their beautiful home (mommy can dec-o-rate!!), we headed down to the Grand River.

I had such a hard time picking which ones to post.

The Barquests

I am such a lucky photographer! I get to take pictures of people like the Barquest family who are so beautiful and so much fun. We met down by the Grand River on Sunday morning after having to reschedule because of Saturday's yucky weather.

Jeff and Sonya engaged!!

One of my very best friends in the world is getting married!! Woohoo! Sonya and Jeff are tying the knot in 2010 and were kind enough to let me take some engagement photos of them. It was so much fun to take photos of two people who are so dear to me.

I love how happy they are together!

The Gillon family

This is my favourite time of year. And this past weekend is the reason why...the weather was gorgeous, and the colours were absolutely incredible.

I met up with Dave and Amanda at the Townsend Park to do family photos on Monday afternoon. We had so much fun! And little 8 month old Michael did fantastic! I just love to take pictures of families who are so in love with each other!

This is a pose that an amazing photographer, Tonia at www.delicateimpressions.ca, did with my son when he was 6 months old. I love the look on Michael's little face!


This was the very last shot of the day and I love how it turned out. Amanda said she was happy to have me do some different photoshop work, and I love how this turned out. One of my new favourite "fall" photos!

Bobby family

Wow!! I am soooo lucky to have been invited out to "Serenity Woods" to take family photos of the Bobby family. This amazing family has one amazing home and property which made a beautiful backdrop for today's photos. I had so much fun, and thoroughly enjoyed my visit! Thanks guys:)

Cole and Brock

On Thanksgiving weekend my family had a wonderful dinner in Caledonia. My cousins from London came down for the day, and Cole and Brock agreed to have their photos done for their mom. They were great sports, even when I made them go out in the cold and play on a jungle gym for some pictures:)

Family pics in Brantford

I had the pleasure of photographing Melanie and Simon, and James and Kerin on Saturday morning at the gorgeous Apps Mills Nature Centre in Brantford. Melanie and James, who are siblings, along with their partners, Simon and Kerin, wanted photos done for their parents for Christmas.

I am really happy with how they turned out...the leaves have finally changed and are adding some gorgeous colours to photos!

The leaves from one maple tree in particular were amazing, so bright I just had to leave them in colour.

Heather, Jim and Larson

All week I have been keeping my fingers crossed that it wouldn't rain for the photo shoot I did today with Heather, Jim and Larson...and it worked! We didn't have a drop of rain come down for the entire session:)
I met up with Heather, Jim and their Great Dane, Larson, at Ruthven Park. Ruthven is one of my all-time favourite places to take pictures. The staff there is wonderful, the grounds are beautiful and every time I turn around I find a new backdrop for a photo.

I always love to capture candid moments; especially when my subjects get the giggles! They make the best photos.
