Saige - One Year

I love one year birthday sessions.
The little ones are so cute, so cuddly, and so co-operative.
Not quite walking yet, crawling a little, and so eager to smile.
Little Saige was such a sweet heart this morning and didn't even make that much mess with her adorable cake from The Sugar House in Brantford.
Mmmm, that cake smelled so good.

Reese - 16 months

Sweet Reese was in the studio yesterday. What a gorgeous little girl. She really was not thrilled with having her photo taken, but what 16 month old is, lol??
She actually did really well. I usually don't do any studio work with children over the age of 1, but little Reese did great.
We eventually wandered outside for a few minutes, until it started to rain.

Barber Family

I thought for sure I was going to have to re-book this session with the Barber family. All week it called for nothing but rain today. I was totally looking forward to meeting Amy, Allen, Morgan and Alexis, after Amy booked for family photos a few weeks ago. Luckily we got some great weather. We didn't need coats, and the sun even peeked through a few times.
This family was so wonderful to work with, and the girls are sooooo adorable! They both have these amazing eyes, and mom did a great job dressing them in colours that highlighted those gorgeous blue eyes.

Such an adorable family.

Baby Eric - 11 days

In the summer I met Jason and Mandy who were expecting their first baby. I loved doing their outdoor maternity session! This morning I finally got to meet their 11 day old baby boy, Eric.
Eric was amazing for his newborn session. He is a great eater, takes a soother and mom and dad are super relaxed, and he was only 11 days old, which is so important for the curled up poses.

Martin Family

Taking photos of families is my passion. I love talking with moms and dads about their little ones, hearing funny stories about parenthood, and even trying to coax smiles out of children who want absolutely nothing to do with me or my camera. Sometimes, a family session turns out to be play time for the kids, with me snapping away with my camera.
These two little princesses I had the pleasure of hanging out with this morning wanted nothing to do with my camera, but they certainly had some fun playing in the leaves and even finding some pumpkins in the creek.

Kennedy wanted to snuggle with dad all morning, while Abby was mommy's girl.
