We've moved to a new blog!!!

Hey everyone! Katie Dawson Photography now has a brand spanking new blog! I'm very excited about this, and I've been working on it for a bit. I wanted a blog that better suited me, my passion for photography and the life I live. What I wanted most from a blog was to have the images I capture showcased, and this new blog does it perfectly.

This adorable brother and sister had some fun on the beach in Port Dover and invited me to tag along and capture a few memories. I love being able to document special moments like this, and to play around at the beach with these two was just icing on the cake!

Newborn ~ Kaelyn

What a lovely little baby girl. Born four weeks early, she came to see me at 15 days old and was PERFECT! She slept, ate, slept, ate, and slept some more. I did this session entirely with natural light because I loved the soft glow of the beautiful sunshine coming through the windows today. I am planning to make some changes to my business in the next few months, and will be working exclusively with natural light on-location!!

I just got this basket and thought it would be cute for pictures.

Gray ~ 5 months

Our family is about to venture out on our first camping trip since Gray was born. We're packed, the kids are super excited, and I am so looking forward to a week without TV, the computer, video games, and other distractions. We won't even have cell phone signals!! It will be so lovely to just spend a week being able to focus 100% on our kids and making some great memories.
I'll be returning all emails and phone calls on Friday, June 10:)
Here are a few pics of Gray at 5 months old. He's rolling over, sitting up on his own (but very wobbly), and starting to scoot across the floor on his belly.

Baby boy {D} ~ 17 days

Wow! This little man was such a good baby. 17 days old and slept for his entire session, right up until the very end. Loved him!
