It seems that kids in the United States place such huge importance on this stage in their lives. I think it's great. I wish I had taken the time to really stop and pay attention during that year. It was a year of becoming an adult, trying to find out who I was. Of making memories that I will carry with me forever.
Seniors in the States do something called "Senior Portraits." It's not at all popular in Ontario, but I think it should be. And after my cousin, a high school student, asked me to do portraits of her last year I haven't been able to get the idea out of my head. I have been thinking about doing this for a while, but I wanted the timing to be right.
So I am going to throw this out there... I am going to offer Senior Sessions for high school students during the month of May.
It would involve booking a time, choosing a location and discussing the style of the shoot.
By "style" I am talking about choosing wardrobe, props and location all to fit who YOU are.
There are a limited number of spaces, and any sessions that get rained out will be rescheduled for early June.
Email me for more details.
Thats a neat idea Katie - I like it! Grade 8 grads would like that too. That is also a special rite of passage.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, I would love to do sessions like this for any graduates... grade 8, university, college, etc.
