Personal ~ Sessions for High School seniors

It's not such a big thing in Canada and I often wonder why. For me, being in my last year of high school didn't seem nearly as dramatic or important as the kids of Beverly Hills 90210 or Saved by the Bell (I'm dating myself...)
It seems that kids in the United States place such huge importance on this stage in their lives. I think it's great. I wish I had taken the time to really stop and pay attention during that year. It was a year of becoming an adult, trying to find out who I was. Of making memories that I will carry with me forever.
Seniors in the States do something called "Senior Portraits." It's not at all popular in Ontario, but I think it should be. And after my cousin, a high school student, asked me to do portraits of her last year I haven't been able to get the idea out of my head. I have been thinking about doing this for a while, but I wanted the timing to be right.
So I am going to throw this out there... I am going to offer Senior Sessions for high school students during the month of May.
It would involve booking a time, choosing a location and discussing the style of the shoot.
By "style" I am talking about choosing wardrobe, props and location all to fit who YOU are.
There are a limited number of spaces, and any sessions that get rained out will be rescheduled for early June.
Email me for more details.

  1. Thats a neat idea Katie - I like it! Grade 8 grads would like that too. That is also a special rite of passage.
